Dr. Franco Madaffari, PT, DPT, ATC, COMT

Dr. Madaffari attended Duquesne University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in athletic training while playing varsity football. He was a three-year starter at outside linebacker and team captain during his senior year. Dr. Madaffari then continued his education at Chatham College, where he received a doctorate in physical therapy in 2003. He started his career as a staff PT at an outpatient clinic in Pottsville, PA, and has since progressed to facility director with Phoenix Rehab.

During his career, Dr. Madaffari has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics, with more than 14 years of experience. He has treated a variety of orthopedic conditions, while his patients have included college athletes and NFL players. Dr. Madaffari has taken multiple continuing education courses and became certified as an orthopedic manual physical therapist through Maitland in 2009.

He is currently pursuing a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Dr. Madaffari is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Lebanon Valley College and a utilization consultant for a major insurance company. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children and dog Coal, as well as fly-fishing throughout the United States.
