Nicky Archer is the Director of International for HawkGrips. Her role is to increase the company’s global footprint, which entails expanding products and education around the world for the benefit of clinicians and patients. She also assists with efforts to develop and enhance domestic HawkGrips educational offerings.
As a former competitive NCAA Division I athlete and marathon runner, as well as a graduate of massage school in the United Kingdom; healthcare and healing have always been important to Nicky. She has also played an active role in her own rehabilitation from athletic injuries. “I was drawn to HawkGrips by the high-quality products and education programs as well as [President] Frank Osborne’s story about how the company began,” Nicky relates.
She moved to the United States from England in 2008 on a cross country/track & field scholarship to complete her master’s degree in sport administration at the University of New Mexico. After graduating in 2010, she worked for six years in international and education roles related to the rehabilitation field.
Nicky joined HawkGrips in June 2016 and works remotely from Albuquerque, NM. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, skiing, running, camping, and hiking. “Basically I just like being outside,” she says with a laugh.
