Ed Feinberg, DC, DACBSP

Join us this week as we discuss shoulder impingement and instability from a chiropractor’s perspective with Ed Feinberg, DC, DACBSP.

Dr. Feinberg has been teaching and practicing sports chiropractic for more than 30 years. He has taught seminars in Egypt, Brazil, Chile, Canada, and throughout the United States. Dr. Feinberg has also worked with athletes on field at the Sea Otter Classic, North Face Endurance Challenge, and 2013 World Games.

As a professor, he has taught instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) classes for over a decade at the Palmer College of Chiropractic West Campus and several other locations in the United States. Dr. Feinberg is a founder and the faculty advisor for the Palmer West Sports Council, the most active of its type in the country. He’s also a faculty advisor for the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council.

Mark Kovacs, PhD, FACSM, CTPS, MTPS, CSCS*D, USPTA, PTR

 Dr. Mark Kovacs is a performance physiologist, researcher, professor, author, speaker and coach with an extensive background training and researching elite athletes. He currently runs a consulting firm focused on optimizing human performance by the practical application of cutting edge science. He formerly directed the Sport Science, Strength & Conditioning and Coaching Education departments for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and was the Director of the Gatorade Sport Science Institute. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the International Tennis Performance Association (iTPA); Dr. Kovacs is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He was an All-American and NCAA doubles champion in tennis at Auburn University and earned his PhD from the University of Alabama. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Tennis Performance Specialist (CTPS) and Master Tennis Performance Specialist (MTPS) through the iTPA, and in 2012 he was the youngest ever recipient of the International Tennis Hall of Fame Educational Merit Award. He has worked with hundreds of elite athletes in dozens of sports providing high performance sport science services in the lab, on the court, field, pitch, track and ring. He now travels the world speaking at conferences and to corporations and universities, in addition to video shoots and interviews.

Jay Greenstein, DC, CCSP, CGFI-L1, CKTP, FMS

Dr. Jay S. Greenstein is a Maryland native. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic, and earned his post-graduate degree in Sports Chiropractic at the Logan College of Chiropractic. In addition to maintaining his private practice as CEO of Sport and Spine Rehab and Sport and Spine Athletics, he is the founder and President of the Sport and Spine Rehab Clinical Research Foundation. Dr. Greenstein is also the founder and CEO of Kaizenovation® Consulting, a leading-edge firm to help doctors and a wide variety of companies to improve their organizational performance. Kaizenovation® Consulting coaches businesses on Six Sigma, human capital management and the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS).
