Franco initially attended Duquesne University where he received a bachelor degree in Athletic Training while simultaneously playing varsity football for Duquesne University. There he stared 3 years at outside linebacker and was team captain his senior year. Franco then continued his education at Chatham college where received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003. Franco started his career as a staff PT in an outpatient clinic in Pottsville, PA, and has since progressed to Facility Director with Phoenix Rehab. Since graduating, Franco has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics, with over 14 years’ experience. He has treated a variety of orthopedic patients with various conditions as well as college and NFL athletes. Franco has continued progressing his education by taking multiple continuing education courses, some of which led to a certification as an orthopedic manual physical therapist through Maitland in 2009. He is currently pursuing a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Franco is also an adjunct professor in the department of physical therapy at Lebanon Valley College and is a utilization consultant for a major insurance company. In his free time Franco enjoys spending time with his wife, two young children and dog Coal as well as fly fishing throughout the United States.
