generic-person Melissa attended Elizabethtown College where she was a Track and Field athlete, and received her BS in Biology, then went on to receive her DPT from Thomas Jefferson University, of Philadelphia, PA. She has spent the majority of her career in the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinics, where most recently she was office manager and lead Physical Therapist for a private practice clinic, just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. Melissa is FMS certified and has spent time volunteer coaching high school track and field athletes, developing off season strength and conditioning programs. After the birth of her daughter in 2014 she switched gears into case management: managing post-acute care rehab patients as a care coordinator, for more a family friendly work schedule. Melissa, her husband Jeff, and daughter Kacey, currently live in Hampton Township, PA where they enjoy outdoor activities with their black lab, and spending time with family and friends.
