Whitney earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of the Incarnate Word in 2003 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2006.  She was Evidence in Motion’s Chief Resident for their first Orthopedic Residency cohort prior to transitioning to the Evidence in Motion OMPT Fellowship initial cohort, which she put on hold in 2010 to compete in the 2010 CrossFit Games. Whitney has since completed an ABPTS Board Certification in Orthopedics (2010) and Sports (2014) in addition to being 3x Texas State Champion for the USAW 63kg weight class, and a 6x South Central CrossFit Regionals competitor.  Her current practice primarily focuses on soccer, Olympic Lifting, and CrossFit athletes. Whitney was first exposed to IASTM during her Residency and Fellowship training and has since completed extensive training and uses IASTM in her daily clinical practice.  Her passion lies in teaching other providers and sharing her passion for achieving excellent clinical outcomes.
