PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE VIRTUAL FORMAT:

This is a LAB-based and interactive course. It is strongly recommended (but not required) to have access to the following:

1. (For IASTM) At least one IASTM tool and a partner / "patient" to practice on.

2. (For BFR) BFR equipment.  BFR application / practice can be performed on a partner or yourself.

Our in-person and virtual courses cover the same information, course objectives, and have the same certification exams.  For virtual, the live (zoom) portion has a condensed schedule.

  • Participants will be able to discuss 2 ways IASTM can be integrated into a multimodal treatment strategy
  • Participants will be able to detail suggested treatment parameters for different IASTM integrative treatment approaches.
  • Participants will be able to discuss the current evidence on IASTM combined with other treatment interventions and the interchangeability

Athletic Trainers

  • HawkGrips (P8834) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education for Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 1 hour of Category A CEs. ATCs are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent in educational programming.

Chiropractors

  • HawkGrips is recognized by the PACE program of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards to offer continuing education for Chiropractors. This program is eligible for 1 CE Hour for providers in states that accept PACE.

Massage Therapists

  • This course is not pre-approved for massage therapists.

Occupational Therapists

  • This course is currently not pre-approved for CEUs for Occupational Therapists in any states. Some states do not require pre-approval. Licensees can check with their individual state boards on CEU eligibility requirements.
