Clinical Corner: Application of IASTM for Lateral Ankle Sprain and Chronic Ankle Instability
This 1-hr recorded webinar is designed for clinicians to gain a greater understanding of lateral ankle sprains and chronic ankle instability. The webinar covers the anatomy of the foot and ankle and discusses biomechanics of the lower quarter relative to lateral sprains and CAI. The webinar then covers treatment considerations, including when and how it’s appropriate to apply IASTM in treatment, and discusses how to implement an exercise-based program to address ankle pathology specific to lateral sprains and CAI.
This course is eligible for 1 Hour of CE Credit.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE VIRTUAL FORMAT:
This is a LAB-based and interactive course. It is strongly recommended (but not required) to have access to the following:
1. (For IASTM) At least one IASTM tool and a partner / "patient" to practice on.
2. (For BFR) BFR equipment. BFR application / practice can be performed on a partner or yourself.
Our in-person and virtual courses cover the same information, course objectives, and have the same certification exams. For virtual, the live (zoom) portion has a condensed schedule.
