Clinical Corner: BFR - How to Successfully Restore Strength Post ACL Reconstruction
This 1-hr webinar is designed for clinicians to learn how Blood Flow Restriction can be used following ACL reconstruction to restore post-operative strength deficits. The webinar will cover the latest research in ACL injury/surgery and its clinical implications, the specific strength and power deficits that are present post-operatively, and the foundation of BFR and how it can be applied throughout the continuum of post-operative ACL care to address the deficits identified in the research.
This course is eligible for 1 Hour of CE Credit.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE VIRTUAL FORMAT:
This is a LAB-based and interactive course. It is strongly recommended (but not required) to have access to the following:
1. (For IASTM) At least one IASTM tool and a partner / "patient" to practice on.
2. (For BFR) BFR equipment. BFR application / practice can be performed on a partner or yourself.
Our in-person and virtual courses cover the same information, course objectives, and have the same certification exams. For virtual, the live (zoom) portion has a condensed schedule.
