Clinical Corner: The Runner's Edge: IASTM Therapy for Pain-Free Movement
This 1-hour webinar that teaches you how to help runners move with greater ease and less pain. Through postural assessments and identification of muscular imbalances caused by compensation and poor alignment, you will learn how to develop targeted treatment strategies. The class includes posture-focused strength exercises, stretching of tight muscle groups, range of motion (ROM) techniques, and fascial release using IASTM tools. By addressing muscle stiffness and dysfunctional movement patterns, you will explore multiple techniques to support recovery and alleviate pain. This course emphasizes practical application, giving you the tools to confidently assess, treat, and improve outcomes for runners experiencing pain or restricted movement.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE VIRTUAL FORMAT:
This is a LAB-based and interactive course. It is strongly recommended (but not required) to have access to the following:
1. (For IASTM) At least one IASTM tool and a partner / "patient" to practice on.
2. (For BFR) BFR equipment. BFR application / practice can be performed on a partner or yourself.
Our in-person and virtual courses cover the same information, course objectives, and have the same certification exams. For virtual, the live (zoom) portion has a condensed schedule.
