Level II: Advanced IASTM

This is a Live, 8-Hour In-Person course. This course builds on the principles covered in the introductory IASTM course. Using a case-study, lab-focused teaching format, advanced treatment strokes are introduced and problem solving skills are emphasized. This course includes the utilization of motion with IASTM and multi-regional treatment concepts. This course also discusses the use of IASTM within different treatment paradigms and the research behind interchangeability of myofascial techniques.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE VIRTUAL FORMAT:
This is a LAB-based and interactive course. It is strongly recommended (but not required) to have access to the following:
1. (For IASTM) At least one IASTM tool and a partner / "patient" to practice on.
2. (For BFR) BFR equipment. BFR application / practice can be performed on a partner or yourself.
Our in-person and virtual courses cover the same information, course objectives, and have the same certification exams. For virtual, the live (zoom) portion has a condensed schedule.

At the completion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Apply advanced IASTM techniques as they apply to common musculoskeletal conditions discussed in class
- Analyze the latest evidence of IASTM treatment paradigms and integrated treatment strategies
- Demonstrate advanced IASTM intervention and tool stroke techniques
- Demonstrate the role of IASTM interventions within a comprehensive treatment approach for common musculoskeletal conditions

The following items are required to receive a completion certificate and / or CEU certificate:
- Pre-Course Modules + Quiz (70% to pass, unlimited attempts given)
- Attend entire live portion of course
- Post-Course Exam (80% to pass, unlimited attempts given)
- Post-Course Evaluation
All portions, with the exception of the live portion, are completed in our online learning platform. Attendance at the live portion is tracked. A completion certificate will be available upon completion of the post-course evaluation.
