This 8-hour course builds on the principles covered in the introductory IASTM course. Using a case-study lab-focused teaching format, advanced treatment strokes are introduced and problem solving skills are emphasized. This course includes the utilization of motion with IASTM and multi regional treatment concepts. At the end of the course, attendees will take an exam for a certification in Level II: Advanced IASTM. A passing score of 80% is required to receive credit for this course. Participants may take the exam multiple times.

In order to attend a HawkGrips IASTM course, each attendee must meet all of the following criteria:
- Completed a minimum of 80 course hours of anatomy and physiology
- Have a working knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and relevant physiology
- Be able within the scope of professional practice to do assessments by evaluating and/or diagnosing injuries and conditions
- Have achieved or is a student in their junior or senior year (transcripts required) working towards one or more of the following credentials: ATC, CHT, DC, DO, DOM, MD, MT, OT, OTA, PT, PTA. For other relevant credentials please contact HawkGrips to verify eligibility.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE VIRTUAL FORMAT:
This is a LAB-based and interactive course. It is strongly recommended (but not required) to have access to the following:
1. (For IASTM) At least one IASTM tool and a partner / "patient" to practice on.
2. (For BFR) BFR equipment. BFR application / practice can be performed on a partner or yourself.
Our in-person and virtual courses cover the same information, course objectives, and have the same certification exams. For virtual, the live (zoom) portion has a condensed schedule.
